  1. Could not find the right design actually,
And it is really hard when you are starting new and only use free ones

  2. I am writing content for my blog, creating an incentive and researching how to start a website at the same time.

  3. Blogging is so much more than putting out a few good sentences. There’s just so much to learn. Thank you for another amazing video Allison.

  4. Hello, Allison. Thank you for your recommendations. Those were great, however, I am still struggling trying to choose the correct theme for our blog. We have a lot of content (articles about horses). We need a theme where we can upload by categories (8 to be precise), eventually we are selling products as well. So we need a theme with links/access to affiliates (ie. Amazon). I hope you can help me. Thank you

  5. I recommend Chained theme, it uses a nice masonry layout, it’s simple, light and free! You can get it from here:

  6. Hi Allison! This is my first time seeing your videos and you have done a great job. Very clear and concise information and I appreciate that greatly. I am just now starting a blog. I have been a Youtuber for 2 years + and have always written my scripts out word for word. I have over 200 of them and I think that is a great start so I don’t have to concentrate so much on my content in the beginning. I already have it for the most part. I am going to look for a service or construction theme for my blog but if I don’t find one I will keep your favorites in mind. Thanks for the great information.

  7. I am starting a blog to bring information about home decor, moving, and hosting, and innovative new products in the design industry to my audience. I plan to do affiliate marketing of faux plants and other home accessories and feel I can get what I need initially through Amazon and Way Fair. I have been told I should look at ‘magazine’ style themes and Avada was suggested. I thought I was fairly savy about things but all the plugs ins, link cloaking, etc. have thrown me for a loop. Any suggestions?

  8. Here’s the link to my own blog: You should definitely take a look if you’re interested in what I’m writing 🦋💫

  9. Can you please recommend me some for my blog, but i want to show my posts on home page like very front page whenever someone open a site he should’ve see my posts.

  10. You have forgotten the essential theme. In my opinion, it’s the best theme currently for it’s clean and sleek design. Also, the customization option is top-notch. I haven’t written a single line of code. Also the animation it offers its wow. I have used this in my client project recently, and it turned out so well.
BTW you can check out my client website for see the design and check out the essential theme here

  11. Hi Allison, Thank you for the insight! Theme links are not working Just want to let you know.

  12. I created a blog website using the skyline theme. but I don’t know how to put next and previous pagination on the home page😭😭

  13. Thanks for sharing with us what you think is most effective to have on your home page (i.e subscriber incentive or option for your audience to buy a product you sell!) I found that very helpful and it will help me better plan my home page for my website.

  14. I purchased a theme, but it came zipped and I have no idea how to get the unzipped files into my website. Its always something… *sigh lol
