LAUNCHING 2021! I’ve heard from SO many amazing people who want to make an impact in their communities by starting a nonprofit AND find a way to do it Full Time! I’ll be launching the Founder to Full-Time Academy soon, which will include online training, materials, and support for folks starting up. If you’re interested, let me know here:

Starting a nonprofit organization or thinking about it? Here are a few things you should do first to make sure you’re successful and can make a BIG impact! #Nonprofit #Entrepreneurship #SocialEnterprise

I now work full time for the 501c3 nonprofit I started many years ago and love seeing the social impact we make in our community as we grow. I get asked often about my experience starting a nonprofit and how others can start a charitable organization themselves. There is a lot that goes into it – from creating a business plan and fundraising strategy to measuring outcomes – and you’ll be better off if you start on some of these things before you even come up with the name for your organization!

If you are starting a nonprofit, thinking about it, or know someone who is trying to start a nonprofit, I hope this helps!

  1. First step to starting a charity. First give your time, then make money and give a portion of it. The result of cleansing your money in this fashion is a form of wealth. Why? Because instead of being like the majority, you are not going into charity to give everyone else’s things away instead you have something to actually give. This is called an attractive force, don’t be a beggar, be an attractive force in the Universe. Also one must understand what true wealth is because with out this they have nothing! Good luck to you!

I’m going to have to create my own economic reality. So, I’m seriously considering starting my own nonprofit. To advance the liberal arts, perhaps. Or some research interest. Or to help bring Philosophy out of its state of cultural irrelevance. Not sure. I have to think some more. But starting up seems almost impossible. It’s overwhelming.

  13. I’ve just stumbled on your channel and you seem to be very familiar with the subject. I will post a question and then move on to your next video.
As you can tell by my channel, I have a passion for Scuba Diving. My local harbor in Lake Superior was in terrible shape so I organized a cleanup and with the help of volunteers, removed 8 tons of tires and debris out of our harbor. I would like to continue the work, but we no longer have a way to fill our high pressure air cylinders. I want to begin an organization that will let me fundraise to obtain a compressor and other materials necessary to do the work. I would love to be able to continue doing this in other areas of the Great Lakes as no one else is doing this. After all, we need cean water. Sorry that my question is so lengthy, Any and all help would be appreciated.
