Alaska summit spat: What’s China’s take on the US? | DW News

An acrimonious exchange has marked the first high level meeting between the new US administration and Chinese officials. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken accused China of threatening global stability while China’s top diplomat Yang Jiechi accused the US of inciting countries to attack China. The testy exchange came as Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Yang Jiechi in Alaska.
DW spoke with Chinese government advisor and President of the think-tank Center for China and Globalization Wang Huiyao to find out how China sees the accusations leveled against it.

  1. The DW host is smartupid. Let me tell you why Hongkong National Security Law represents democracy. On Chinese Constitution and Hongkong Basic Law, National Security Law is decided by the representatives of 1.4 billion Chinese people. Please take away your smartupidity!

  2. the funny thing is i found the whole version 1hour 7minutes 54seconds in china, but nothing on youtube or the other media channel. is this called media freedom? I think no matter the people from which country, we can interpret by ourselves rather than to get the ” summary” from the news.

  3. China need to learn from American who again me bully them, see Korean Japan so good boy in front of AMERICAN DAD.

  4. American don’t like Islam, and american don’tl like China, but American like Islam in china

  5. The US is only interest in hegemony.India should check hin own democtacy. The US democracy don’t work any more people tired of US style democracy it’s only regime change country’s left in power you and ruins.

  6. Rather than allow the listeners to deduce who is right the interviewer is foisting his own opinion and haranguing the chinese spokesperson.

  7. Is obvious US trying to interfere in China’s internal affairs. Xinjiang, HK, Taiwan and Tibet are all doing very well once the dissident are removed. Such dissidents are actually supported by some evil western countries with the hope of disintegrating the entire China, just like the way the did to the former Soviet Union. Well, CCP is too smart and China is too strong for US and it’s 3 eyes alliance to delay their progress now.

  8. This reporter is clearly trumpeting American ideology. Ask questions from a neutral position, stop pushing American’s narrative of what the world should adopt or play by the rules they set up for their own advantage.

  9. I thought Wikipedia was not a reliable source of information?
So why push the “blue democratic fact checker box” ?
    Hahahah youtube you silly hypocrites…🤣😂🤣

  10. China wants to impose it’s Authoritarian Strategy across the Globe. None can believe China if someone does they will have to pay the price. The U.S must clear it’s strategy to Palestine, Democracy and Humanism. China and the U.S have their own constraints. However no authoritarian regime could ever bring peace defying Democracy.

  11. What kind of reporter is this? You ask a question, when Mr. Wang answers, you cut him off. Then you ask another question, when Mr. Wang answers, you cut it off again. You better not have to interview him. lol

  12. The media won’t even release a full video, the whole conversation has translators, what is the media hiding
